Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui quarantined with family at hometown after Eid journey
Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family members were placed under home quarantine after they went to Budhana town in Uttar Pradesh state from Mumbai to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, police said today.
Nawazuddin, along with his family members, reached his hometown on Saturday after getting necessary permission for travel from the authorities in Maharashtra, reports our New Delhi correspondent quoting Nepal Singh, superintendent of police (Rural) in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.
The actor and his family members were tested for Covid-19 and their reports came negative, the SP said.

However, they have been placed under mandatory 14-day home quarantine, the official added.
Nawazuddin's brother Ayazuddin Siddiqui said the actor came to his hometown to celebrate Eid with his family.
He, however, said that Nawazuddin will not meet anyone outside the family in the wake of the situation arising out of coronavirus outbreak.
