A Dhaka court today ordered police to confiscate properties of Mohin Uddin, a fugitive accused in a case filed over the killing of Taslima Begum Renu by a mob in the capital's Badda in July 2019.

Metropolitan Magistrate Md Manunur Rashid passed the order after Badda police submitted a report on execution of arrest warrant issued earlier against the fugitive Mohin.

The magistrate also asked the officer-in-charge of Badda Police Station to submit a report on execution of property's confiscation by February 1.

Earlier on December 2 last year, the same court took cognizance of charges against 15 accused and issued an arrest warrant against Mohon as the investigation officer showed him fugitive in the charge sheet in the case.
