Cement trader killed in Bogura

A rod-cement trader was murdered in Bogura's Sherpur upazila this evening.

The deceased was identified as Faridul Islam (45), our local correspondent reports quoting Gazipur Rahman, additional superintendent of police (Sherpur) circle.

"The incident took place at 7:00pm today at Italy village. Miscreants stabbed Faridul with sharp weapons leaving him dead on the spot," he said.

Police said they are trying to find the attackers and primarily suspect the incident took place over previous enmity with locals.
