Covid-19: Pran-RFL donates 3 sample collection booths to DMCH
Pran-RFL Group has donated three sample collection booths (WISK cabin) to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for collecting Covid-19 test samples.
Kamruzzaman Kamal, marketing director at Pran-RFL Group, handed over the booths to Brig Gen AKM Nasir Uddin, director of DMCH, on Wednesday.
Associate Professor Dr Monira Pervin of Virology Department of Dhaka Medical College was also present there.
"Since Covid-19 is a contagious disease, people who collect the samples for Covid-19 test are in risk of getting infected while collecting samples. It is badly needed to ensure safety of the health workers who are collecting samples. For the reason, Pran-RFL Group donated three sample collection booths to DMCH as part of its corporate social responsibility," said Kamruzzaman Kamal.
Brig Gen AKM Nasir Uddin thanked Pran-RFL Group for donating the sample collection booths to DMCH.
Earlier, the group also donated a sample collection booth to Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital.
Getwell Limited, a sister concern of Pran-RFL Group, recently introduced WISK cabin in its product line which can be installed from one place to another easily.
The cabin ensures safety of health workers. There is no need to change PPE after taking every sample inside the WISK cabin. This booth will also reduce manpower needed for sample collection. The cabin also ensures social distancing.
WISK cabins can be procured by contacting Pran-RFL Group's customer care centre (0961373777) or by placing order through Othoba.com.
