Day-long cleaning campaign held at DU

As part of the “Clean Campus Week-2019’ (August 01 to 07, 2019) initiative of University of Dhaka, Sir PJ Hartog International Hall organized a day-long cleaning program on and near the premises on August 06, 2019.  

Provost of the hall Professor Dr Md Mohiuddin inaugurated the program, according to a press release.  

Ex-provost, house tutors of the hall, resident teachers, international students and the staff of the hall took part in this voluntary initiative.

It is to be noted that to fight the current dengue scenario, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman led a day-long cleaning imitative on 05 August 2019.

The university has decided to observe ‘Clean Campus Week’ in the first week of every month, the release added.
