DIFE launches telemedicine service for workers

The Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishment (DIFE) has started telemedicine healthcare services related to the coronavirus for workers in formal and informal sectors from today.

The Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishment (DIFE) has started telemedicine healthcare services related to the coronavirus for workers in formal and informal sectors from today.

Some 11 DIFE doctors will render treatment to workers, according to a statement from the DIFE.

The DIFE doctors will prescribe treatment over phone during the government closure between 10am and 2pm.

Workers can receive free-of-cost coronavirus related health treatment by communicating with the assigned doctors using their mobile phones.

Doctors will give advice to workers and if necessary they will prescribe treatment through text messages.
