Evaly provides personal health safety equipment to CTTC

Evaly.com.bd has provided personal health safety equipment for the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

Evaly.com.bd has provided personal health safety equipment for the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

These protective equipment were gifted by e-Commerce based marketplace to the members of the specialised unit of the DMP to ensure their health safety.

The security equipment were officially handed over at the CTTC Head Office on Mintu Road in the capital on Thursday, May 7. Mohammad Rassel, managing director and CEO of Evaly, handed over the equipment to Monirul Islam, additional commissioner of DMP and head of CTTC.

The safety items included 250 personal protective equipment (PPE), 2,500 face masks, 250 eye protective glasses, 250 units of hand wash and 500 units of hand sanitiser. Evaly has also provided four hand thermometers for the CTTC office.

"Members of the police force are among those working to ensure our safety, as well as doctors from the front lines during the Covid-19 crisis. CTTC is a specialised unit of DMP. In honour and gratitude for their professionalism and relentless work, we donated these health care and safety products from our limited resources. The safety of the members of the police force is very important at this time. They are working to keep us safe. If they are safe and we are aware, we will be safe too," said Mohammad Rassel, co-founder of Evaly.

Thanking Evaly for providing personal health care, CTTC Chief Monirul Islam said, at this time in Corona, every member of Bangladesh Police has been performing his professional duties with courage from his own position.

"As you know, members of the police force are also being infected by coronavirus, and there have been incidents of deaths. Even then, like any other time of crisis in the country, we, the members of the police, have been working for the safety of the people by fighting against coronavirus spread risking our own lives. We are grateful that Evaly has come to our side. This will inspire us more," Monirul Islam added.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Cyber Security and Crime Unit Mohammad Najmul Islam and Chairman of Bahon Express Kazi Nasim Uddin were also present on the occasion.
