Fire in Banani building under control

A fire broke out at a building on Banani Road 12 in Dhaka this afternoon.

Two firefighting units doused the blaze at 4:45pm. 

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, but originated around 4:00pm, said Ershad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
