Fire at Konka Electronics factory in Narayanganj under control

A huge fire that broke out at Konka Electronics factory in Narayanganj's Sonargaon area this morning is now under control.

The fire was brought under control at 1:20 pm by seven fire-fighting units, said Ershad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.

The fire originated at around 10:45am at the factory located in Mugrapara area.

The cause of the fire, casualty and the damage due to the fire could not be known immediately, he added.
