Fire at Lalmonirhat DAE warehouse

A fire broke out at a warehouse of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) in Lalmonirhat today. 

The employees of the DAE office were alerted when they saw black smokes coming out from inside the warehouse in the district town this afternoon. 

On information, firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control within an hour. 

Fire Service officials said the fire might have originated from an electrical short-circuit.

Hamidur Rahman, training officer of DAE in Lalmonirhat, said many equipment, including the rice harvesting machine, stored in the warehouse were unharmed.
