Grameen Telecom provides masks and PPEs to law enforcers

Grameen organisations have come forward with various programmes since the start of the Covid-19 crisis across Bangladesh.

In this crucial time, it is imperative to secure the protection of the members of law enforcement agencies -- Police, Army and Rapid Action Batallion (RAB) -- who have been working tirelessly to ensure the safety of people by encouraging them to stay at home and follow social distancing measures, raise health awareness, distribute relief among the needy, also to bury those who died from Covid-19.

Grameen Telecom has recently provided 3,000 personal protective equipment (PPEs), 50,000 disposable medical masks and 2,000 K N95 masks to the police force, and 50,000 disposable medical masks to both the Army and RAB, in a bid to extend support to the frontline responders from these law enforcement agencies who are working tirelessly to help the people cope up with the coronavirus pandemic.
