ISPR protests soldier recruitment advert on foreign website

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) today termed “intentional” an advertisement on soldier recruitment for Bangladesh Army published in an Indian online job portal. 
According to ISPR, www.karmakshetra.org, which mainly publishes advertisement on Indian government jobs, recently published an advertisement in English about soldier recruitment in the Bangladesh Army.
“Some vested quarter might have done it with certain motives,” reads an ISPR release signed by its director Lt Col Mohammad Rashidul Hasan.
Advertisement on recruitment in the Bangladesh Army is published only in Bangla language in the print media of Bangladesh. No advertisement is given to any foreign media, either in print or electronic, the ISPR release says.
It also pointed out that the salary scale mentioned in the website is totally baseless, it said.
“No information on salary scale is mentioned in any advertisement of Bangladesh Army,” the release added.
