The government today instructed local authorities to relocate all kitchen and fish markets to khas land or other suitable areas during the coronavirus crisis to ensure social distancing in those markets.

The land ministry issued an order to all districts today in this regard, said a press release of the ministry.
The local haat and bazar committees were advised to take assistance from health officials and law enforcement agencies to ensure social distancing among buyers and sellers.
In the press release, the land ministry said the huge presence of people in the markets are a violation of social distancing protocols.
The ministry, therefore, issued the order to relocate the markets to other suitable places.
