THE WASTE STATION The landfill in Aminbazar on the outskirts of the capital. Set up on some 50 acres of land, the waste station is running without environmental clearance for a number of years now. Inset, some of the garbage end up mixing with the water of the nearby lowland, and eventually pollute the Turag and the Buriganga.
