Woman raped by neighbour, family claims

In Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria, a mother of two was raped allegedly by her neighbour on Sunday night.

Akbar Mia (30) forcibly took the woman from in front of her mother's house in Mohishbar village to a field around 10:30pm and raped her, our local correspondent reports quoting the victim's brother.

The woman was admitted to Brahmanbaria General Hospital for treatment.

When contacted, Officer-in-Charge Shazedur Rahman of Nasirnagar Police Station said no case was filed in this regard yet.
