Acid throwing is one of those heinous crimes. It is very rampant in our country. We find the news of acid throwing almost every day in the newspapers. In most cases, frustrated lovers are involved in this evil activity. When they fail to win the heart of their beloved, they try to take revenge in a beastly manner. This leads to complete ruination of the lives of acid victims. In most cases the victims succumb to injuries and those who survive are left with a very miserable life. Either they are crippled or paralyzed. Acid throwing is an inhuman and brutal act which has not yet been viewed with due concern in this society. It turns a man into a beast Now we are watching that the crime is spreading very fast. And even men are being targeted. Recently, a student of our college was thrown acid on his face which was indeed a horrible scene. What is happening in our country? What is our government doing? We don't know why the acid throwers are not being arrested. The government is urged again to do its best to put an end to this barbaric practice.
