Allow me to emphasise through the columns of your newspaper on "keeping the movement against contamination of food and other consumer goods operative."

Food is one of the basic needs of mankind. It is the right of the consumer to have quality goods in the markets and it is the responsibility of the govt to ensure good public health by providing standard consumer goods, including items of food.

Now a days a question has been raised as to what we are buying from the market and taking as food and drinks. We appreciate the present initiative of the govt. against impure and non-standard goods by operating 'Mobile Court' under a magistrate. Today, almost every consumer goods in the market is impure. Impurity or contamination in food items is very dangerous and health experts have expressed their opinion about the reaction and bad impact of impure food items. Different media are also keeping the public informed about it.

We request the govt to continue the present drive against contamination of consumer goods. Sufficient 'Mobile Team' can be constituted to keep constant vigilance against dishonest businessmen who should be severely death with. They should be given exemplary punishment including cancellation of their trade license.
