The piece by Brig Gen (Retd) Shahedul Anam Khan published on June 23, 2016 was well-written and I enjoyed reading it very much. It appears that the law enforcing agencies never wanted to catch anyone with terrorist and criminal links. Criminals such as Faizullah and Sharif who could have provided valuable information on terrorist activities in the country were eliminated in 'crossfire'. How can we trust these drives to bring about desired results?
