"Bachelor'

I do not know what people mean by truly international because to me each of Satyajit Roy's film gives the essence of being world class and I don't find anything world class in Bachelor. The story line-up of the movie is very weak, inconsistent (I am not going to that argument whether it is unethical or close to life). The first half shows the flirtation of Opi Karim and Ferdous, the second half is the repetition of the first half, only Opi mysteriously vanishes and is replaced by Shabnoor.

The movie is unnecessarily prolonged which creates boredom. The movie does not have climax and anticlimax and it gives the essence of a tele-film, not a feature film. The other characters are not fully portrayed and some of the characters are dropped behind (like Arman Parvez Murad). Getting married and then keeping relationship with another woman and then turning into a bachelor again... aren't all these too much in such a light movie? Anisul Huq and Mostafa Sarwar are a good combination that has presented us some admirable dramas, and we expected something better from them than Bachelor.
