Ban on Ahmadiyya books
I would like to express my views on the govt decision of banning all the publications of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat (Kadiani).I personally believe that the political/non-political groups who are protesting against the decision know very little about the ideologies of the Kadiani sect ; they (protestors)do not know the fundamental difference between mainstream Islam and the Kadiani sect . Kadianis do not believe that Hazrat Muhammad (SM) was the last messenger of Allah. Everybody knows that publications of different religions in Bangladesh are not facing any restriction. So, since the Kadiani community has not yet been declared non-Muslim ( many other countries have declared them non-Muslim), they cannot and should not be given the chance to misguide mainstream Muslims. If they were declared non-Muslim, then they could publish and preach their beliefs as different religious groups do; there would be no objection.
But under the prevailing circumstances, the question of fundamental rights of minority groups is not relevant . Rather it is a question of easing tension and confusion.
