Bangabandhu or only National Stadium?
One might have noticed that, in the commentaries on the on going Test match between Bangladesh and England, the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) is simply being called the National Stadium.
Have the commentators been asked to say so? Because, in the beginning, they were calling it BNS. It seems the change in the name followed the circulation of an emotional article, full of truths, on Bangabandhu in the Cricinfo page. I guess the commentators were asked by the authorities to refrain from calling the stadium as BNS. What a pity!
By the by, I hope I am wrong.
