Batsmen must monitor their session timings

Years ago in a Bangladesh vs. West Indies test match, Alok Kapali, at 85 runs, lifted his bat to hit the ball for a 6 only to get caught out near the boundary. Later on, Kapali admitted that if he had known they were close to the lunch interval, he would not have played that shot. This was a lame excuse. I see the same problems with our players to this day.

Sabbir should have taken as much of the strike as possible instead of exposing his less experienced batting partners. Batsmen like Mominul must always present the full face of the bat, preventing balls taking the edge and getting caught behind. With Riyadh during the 2nd innings, you could see the shadow of the bat on the ground, meaning that it hadn't touched the ground.
I hope the players realise their mistakes and play better during the second test against England.
