I would not blame, rather inspire , the Bangladeshis if they "abuse the privilege" of a visa which for Mr. Chowdhury and the "civilised nations" means staying in a particular country after the "valid time". He totally ignored the matter of compensation on the basis of which I said that our students have every right to go to the UK and stay there for life if they want to. Other former colonised countries may not claim compensation for their looted wealth but none can deny our right to claim it. Refusal of visa by the UK or other "developed" countries' is not an isolated matter; it is related to other issues of the present-day world. What we see today is economically and militarily strong countries deciding what is right and what is not. What we are witnessing now is that international laws and contracts being abused and distorted by the countries that have got muscle power.
