Brutal assassinations
Israel has assassinated front line Hamas leader Abdel Aziz Rantissi, as a part of its so-called 66 targeted killings." Obviously, killing of Rantissi will have a negative impact on the roadmap for peace.
Assassination of Palestinian leaders, one after another, only open up the avenues for bloody-clashes between the Palestinians and the Israelis. A few days back , Israel had also killed Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, the spiritual leader blamed for suicidal bomb attacks in Israel.
What Sharon is doing is a clear violation of all international laws and norms . Israel should not forget that no nation could ever be bludgeoned into submission in the history of mankind. The rule cannot be changed when it comes to Palestine.
