BSF atrocities

If the Indian intelligence is concerned about terrorism in Bangladesh, then they should be also aware of some well known Bangladeshi godfathers allegedly hiding inside Indian territory. It is ridiculous to shoot an innocent peasant just on suspicion while turning a deaf ear to Bangladesh's request for handing over known terrorists.

Smuggling is a serious issue. I must admit that smuggling should be dealt with drastic measures. But we are really tired of hearing such stories like smugglers carrying firearms and BSF had to shoot them. BSF has check posts from where they can clearly observe a person before aiming at him. The smugglers surely don't hire mercenaries to fight an organised force like BSF. Nowadays, people get killed almost each and every day. More interestingly, the act of smuggling never really ceases and as we all know, it is an open secret that smugglers have links with both BSF and BDR.

I think illegal immigration from India, not from Bangladesh, is the major issue. BDR has to face push-ins on many occasions.

Bad blood between BDR and BSF might be a matter of concern. It is probably an outcome of years of mistrust. Given time, it will improve.
