Budget without foreign aid
We express our gratitude to the top economists of the country for their valued opinion that "Budget without Foreign Aid" is not an impossibility. We believe that there is truth in it. They have further gone to say that misappropriation to the extent of 75% of the foreign aid is done and only 25% is utilised properly. If it is so, receiving foreign aid goes against the interests of the whole nation. It has surfaced in the recent days that the givers attach so many conditions which seem to be disgraceful and tantamount to interference in the internal affairs of the country. Moreover, we have a habit of consuming ghee/butter with loan money. It is a universal truth that the giver will dictate terms to the recipient .
We may at least try to formulate our national budget without foreign aid to uphold national dignity.
