Chittagong environment
The environment of Chittagong has become the subject of much criticism. Yet it is always nobody's affair. The bad smell coming out of the heaps of garbage is undoubtedly harmful to our health. The sweepers of the CCC seem to have been neglecting their duty. The city is littered with mud, cow-dung excreta left by street dogs and also dirt and fifth thrown down through the windows. The road inspectors of the CCC have taken no notice of these things. Chitagong is a port city, so it should be a model of cleanliness.
One wonders how the city fathers can sleep over a matter so important for the people of Chittagong. The citizens expect that the authorities will kindly take prompt steps to give them relief.
