College student loses eyesight - Who is to blame?

On Thursday, students from seven colleges affiliated with Dhaka University demonstrated in Shahbagh to demand the announcement of the exam schedule. Whose responsibility was it to inform all seven college authorities about the exam dates, and why didn't they come out to inform the students even during the demonstration? This negligence on the part of the college authorities has inconvenienced the students and resulted in one person losing his eyesight. 

We hope that a proper investigation will be conducted by the authorities and appropriate actions taken. The unfortunate student deserves more than mere expression of compassion. The administration should look into the details, so that justice is done to all those who are suffering.
