We have a dire situation now in Bangladesh because of the floods. In this situation, I, on behalf of the general people of Bangladesh, would like to request everybody to donate money, clothing and household items to the NGOs for distribution among flood affected people.

We would like to appeal to the people to cancel all kinds of concerts and functions for the time being.

The government should cut expenditures by cancelling all unnecessary foreign visits.
