a) Food Adulteration b) Medicine / Saline/ Potable water adulteration c) Environmental damage caused by human error/ mischief d) Land grabbing.

But what is sad is that the concerned authorities/ officials are not

responding to the reports . And there is no higher authority to grill these officials. Our parliamentary committees have no power to grill the officials in public hearing of parliamentary committees. These hearings should be open to the media to inform the public. Our officials / bureaucrats are TOO- SECURE in government jobs as long as they serve their political masters well.

Our parliamentary committees on various ministries should learn more on various Issues OR hire professional experts to give testimony in such hearing & debates with the entrenched secretaries / officials on their failures as reported in national dailies.

Fear must be instilled in the officials for negligence or failures. No more complacency should be tolerated by the people of this poor/ helpless nation.

Accountability must be ensured for all officials in every department which draws financial benefit from the national budget. There should be no exception for anybody. Everybody must be accountable. No power given to anyone in the state should be a blank cheque.
