I had an opportunity to read an article written by Mr AKN Ahmed which was published in your paper on the 31st March/2004 titled- "Corruption all over the world: where Bangladesh stands."

After a long discussion on world affairs, he has limited the task on the banking sector. He has pointed out the role of ethics, which means the moral character of the Chief Executive of the institution. In every sector, if ethics or morality is corrected, we can set the right goal. Majority people are innocent but a few creates and dominate the role. So, this should be looked upon properly.

A few days back , I read an article in Bengali written by a diplomat in which he said that he represented a country where 95 per cent people are honest! We are suffering due to the misdeeds of a small number of corrupt elements.

Therefore, let us train our young generation to get rid of corruption and they will ring the bell for our rescue.
