I was particularly disappointed with the performance of the captain of the Bangladesh side. He appears to be a compulsive hooker, but seldom succeeds in grabbing the fish. His very soft dismissal in the first innings caused much damage to our batting . But he learned nothing , and forgot nothing, and made the same mistake in the second innings. And who will forget the regulation catch that he dropped when Tendulkar was still looking a bit tentative? That was anything but captain like!

The selectors should lay due emphasis on not only playing skills but also on sense of responsibility and commitment. The captain demonstrated neither of them, unfortunately though.
