Cricket

Cricket is still very popular in the subcontinent. But the number of spectators in the on-going Lahore Test between India and Pakistan appears to be very small. Has Test cricket lost its appeal? Even people from the countries having strong national sides are now interested only in one-dayers. Perhaps people don't have enough time to enjoy Test cricket.

That is a bad sign for the game, for one day cricket is not enough to learn the basic techniques. Test cricket must survive in the interest of the game itself.
