Delhi's stand on Dhaka
I congratulate Mr Shadabul Mujib for his letter on the above issue (DS 29/8/05) but must point out that he missed "Buddhists" as one of the four main communities in Bangladesh.
I recall a song sung by noted Indian Singer Shyamol Mitra at Paltan Maidan in early 1972 which was "Banglar Hindu, Banglar Bouddha, Banglar Christian, Banglar Musalmaan, Amra Sabai Bangalee, I wish I could listen to the (moving) song again in my life.
