Developing health sector

We are aware of the condition of our health sector. The problem is getting worse day by day. From the reports published in various newspapers I have come to the conclusion that all the good medical facilities are available in Dhaka only. So people who live outside Dhaka have no option than coming here for better treatment especially for diabetes, heart problems etc. And this is creating pressure on the hospitals which is difficult to handle.

If we can establish better equipped hospitals in the divisional headquarters of the country, this pressure will diminish. And at least there should be one good hospital in each division that can handle the cases of diabetes, blood pressure and other diseases. These hospitals can also be used for creating public awareness against diseases like AIDS.

I am sure there are many private investors who would like to invest in developing hospitals in the divisional headquarters, but it is the government who should take the initiative.
