DUTA's strike

More than three weeks have already passed since the atrocious attack on Prof. Humayun Azad as well as the indefinite strike called by the DUTA. Still there is no notable headway in the CID investigation about the attack. The government and opposition parties are busy in mud-slinging as usual. Therefore, the real culprits are out of the scene. As a spontaneous response to the vicious attack on one of their colleagues, the DUTA's strike is very much logical and rational. I myself completely agree with their demands which should be fulfilled. At the same time, I am apprehensive about my academic career.

So I feel relieved to learn that the teachers have withdrawn their strike.
