EC's laudable move
We must appreciate the move of the Election Commission to meet and discuss with the political parties the issue of general election, 2007. All the parties, big or small, responded to the call of the CEC, though the main opposition Awami league did not attend. The AL is confusing the nation, with their one-point demand of dethroning Khaleda Zia and her government at once.
We would like to request the main opposition AL to kindly sit together with the party in power to minimise the gap and work for a peaceful solution of the present political crisis. Otherwise, it would be very difficult for them to have public support.
