Efficiency or ...
It just dawned on me that the politicians in Bangladesh are extremely efficient or good for nothing. Sadek Hossain (Khoka), the Hon. Mayor of Dhaka is also an MP and holds a high position in the BNP party hierarchy. These are serious responsibilities. I do not understand how one person can do a credible job in all three assignments. Then again, we have four ministers running the transportation sector. One for road transportation, one for railway transportation, one for naval transportation and yet another for civil aviation.
Do they really have anything worthwhile to do? It is time to pass a law that will require an elected official to resign before seeking another elected office.
