The enthusiasm of Eid-ul Azha touches everyone regardless of class, gender or age. Insofar as the economic affordability is concerned, everyone's dream is not always fulfilled. I have a few queries, which haunt me always to get answers to. It might sound uncomfortable to someone but I am sure it would be thought provoking to others. We see that there is always a competition in the market in terms of the buying and selling cattle with an attitude of one-upmanship. Status, power, money and prestige, all are involved in the buying and the sacrifice of the animal. Why? Will the bigger cow make Allah happier? How can we be sure that our offering have been accepted by Allah? It only depends upon our belief, earring money honestly and leading our lives according to the directions of the Quran and the Hadith.
