Entry to Dhaka Cantonment
The cantonment authorities have again started refusing civilian entrance to Dhaka Cantonment gates since the opening of Mohakhali Flyover. Traffic situation on both ends of the flyover has gone down to disastrous levels. While the catastrophe is partly due to lack of foresight on the part of our traffic planners, the refusal to use cantonment road as an alternative is the other major cause.
The cantonment authorities should reconsider their decision in the greater interest of people.
