External interference

The US envoy's meddling in each and every local affair is becoming an interference in our internal affairs, right from his joining his post in Dhaka not too long ago.

I am neither a politician nor an authority to comment on the periphery and jurisdiction of an ambassador and the extent to which a foreign diplomat can go in talking about internal affairs of a country. His (Harry K Thomas Jr.) comments on arrest of Bangla Bhai or warning in respect of trade unionism at the EPZs appear to be a violation of diplomatic norms.
