I am a visitor from India. The article written by Ms. Subhra Saha was an interesting reading. It is heartening to know that ladies fashion is stronger in domestic market than in the exports. The garment export industry is doing negligible business in the ladies wear and mostly without the fashion inputs. The industry is more focused on production than product. The article has given strength to my views that this region does have interest in fashion designing.

We are shortly starting a Fashion Training Institute in Dhaka (A subsidiary of Pearl Academy of Fashion, New Delhi, India which has affiliation with the leading fashion institutes of U.K. and Germany. We will be happy to induct local talent as the teaching staff who will be mixed with the expatriate well experienced staff for the effective teaching of the students. I request the readers, to help us create fashion not only in the domestic but in the export industry as well, for better value addition.
