Finance minister's observation
Our finance minister's sermon "You build costly houses but demand cheap food, that's not reasonable" drew my attention. As finance minister, he should be well aware of the percentage of people building costly houses and the number of people living below poverty line. He should also know how many of Bangladeshi people have houses with minimum facilities owned by the family, not to say anything about costly houses. Knowing all these hard facts and uttering what he has publicly said deserves something more than carping criticism. Instead of passing such remarks, he should categorically say how many jobs at what levels he is planning to create in next FY.
