But it is a matter of great concern that the overall testing system still lacks perfection as the questions are set up according to the syllabus of HSC keeping no provisions for the A level students. For them the Bengali questions are just translated into English version.

In reality there lies a vast difference in syllabus contents between the traditional Intermediate level and O/A levels. As a result, the English medium students can't get through. Finding no other alternatives either they leave the country for higher studies causing brain drain and national financial loss, or go for private universities which needs strong financial solvency. Therefore those who cannot avail any of the two options suffer from great despair. The matter deserves immediate attention.
