Frequent power failure
During the last few months it has become a common practice to keep the Dhaka city dark for a few hours at a stretch by the power suppliers-- Desa/Desco. The sufferings of the people of the city knows no bounds. The abnormal and frequent power failure is damaging the costly electronic goods such as television, freeze etc.
But what is the power ministry doing? The poor farmers in the rural areas have to depend on electricity for irrigation. But the minister has said that the problem won't be solved if he resigns! True, but he has to do something since words alone cannot help us.
