Experts at a seminar recently urged the government to incorporate the HIV/AIDS issue into primary and secondary textbooks with a view to creating awareness about the dreadful disease at the grassroots level.
Although Bangladesh is a low prevalence country but there exists a potential risk of AIDS spreading in Bangladesh because some of our neighbouring countries are in the high prevalence zone.
I endorse the proposal of incorporation of AIDS matter in school texts together with religious teachings.
