Governance

It is extremely frustrating to watch Bangladesh drifting into a blind alley. We consider the process as complete disrespect of democratic norms. The country is said to be following parliamentary democracy. But in practice, the parliament is not functioning, as it should be. In this tense situation, we hardly see our head of the government facing the nation and explaining the government policy options as part of the accountability of the government.

On the other hand, 4-5 ministers are handling the issues in a very unprofessional manner putting a lot of political spin, as they are quite good at it.

We, the neutral citizens of Bangladesh, urge upon the government--please listen to the voice of the people, rather than of the chamchas and ill motivated mentors. They will not come to your rescue. We have enough evidence of that.

We believe that the government and the opposition must sit for a dialogue to arrive at a solution of the current political impasse. The country is more important than politics, political parties and a few irresponsible public servants.
