Greatest Bengalee
When we place the names of the political personalities besides cultural and intellectual luminaries for a list that will reflect the opinions of radio listeners in order of their popularity, we are in a race beyond appreciation.
What is to be noted here is that only political personalities gain through votes, not persons above politics. So it is very strange to see Golam Azam amongst the greats like Rabindranath, Kazi Nazrul and Ishwarchandra Viddyasagar. It's like a comedy of errors, where Churchill is getting the top slot ahead of Newton in the list of top Britons!
