Hartal

I wrote to an Awami League leader requesting him to persuade his party not to call hartal. He wrote me back that they don't have any choice other than hartal to protest.

Is that right, I told him to go for hunger strike or use some other kind of protest and not destruction of people's property in the name of hartal. So it's clear now that the political leaders call hartal just to grab power and boycott parliament but still get all govt. benefits like duty free car with tax payers' money.

Who are the losers here? Of course, the general people.
