Hijab and France
This is in reference to the letter written by Cantara Wali Ruhi on October 4. While I don't support the French government's decision to ban hijab, there is a factual mistake in Cantara's letter. France has banned displaying of crosses for the Christians and skull caps for the Jews as well.
And, while there are extremists in all religions, if the voice of the extreme comes to the forefront and the moderates stay silent, then it is a problem for us. Moderates have to speak up and protest the atrocities that are being committed in the name of Islam.
